Surfendipity is a blend of two words: Surf and Serendipity. It captures the magic we often experience while traveling the world in search of waves, those unexpected moments when everything comes together just right. Whether it’s discovering a hidden surf break, meeting amazing people, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature, these joyful, unplanned experiences are what Surfendipity is all about.

We’re Philine and Ellen, the founders behind the brand. As two surf and travel enthusiasts, we not only share a love for catching waves but also a vision for embracing new adventures, both in the ocean and in life. Surfendipity is our way of celebrating that spirit. We’re stoked to get started and committed to continuously explore, learn, and grow along the ride.

On one of our surf trips through Indonesia, we discovered the beautiful, traditional sarongs of Lombok. Inspired by their vibrant patterns, lightweight feel, and quick-drying qualities, we reimagined them into something every surfer (and non-surfer!) could love: the perfect poncho.
